Sora video production artificial intelligence released publicly

OpenAI officially released Sora’s text-to-video AI model. This model is available today on Sora.com for ChatGPT subscribers in the US and most other countries. In addition to the initial version of Sora, a newer model named Sora Turbo has also been introduced, which offers more advanced features.

Sora Turbo brings features such as generating animated videos from text, animating still images and combining multiple videos.

With the ChatGPT Plus subscription, users can produce up to 50 high-quality videos with a resolution of 720p and a duration of 5 seconds. ChatGPT Pro subscribers can benefit from unlimited video production by paying $200 per month and can also produce up to 500 high-quality videos with 1080p resolution and 20 seconds duration. The more expensive plan allows users to download videos without watermarks and produce up to five videos simultaneously.

OpenAI first showed off examples of Sora’s capabilities back in February.
