It has been a few weeks since OnePlus 13 was officially introduced in China. However, it looks like the smartphone maker isn’t done yet. A new OnePlus smartphone with model number CPH2645 and motherboard ID “Pineapple” has recently been spotted on a benchmark platform.
MySmartPrice was the first to detect a Geekbench visit, and then ran into a total of five benchmarks with the same device name, all on the same date, according to Tekna Technology Media’s mobile news service. Benchmark logs, assuming they’re accurate, reveal some interesting information about OnePlus’ next budget phone.
This is not the first time we come across the “Pineapple” ID. In an official benchmark benchmark shared by a OnePlus executive earlier this month, the same codename was listed in the CPU section for two devices: the upcoming OnePlus 3T and an unknown phone powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon chip. 8 uses Gen 3. This is the same chip that the current flagship of this brand, OnePlus 12, uses. Additionally, the Geekbench listings also point to the Adreno 750, which is the same graphics engine that comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.
Now, OnePlus uses the Ace brand for its phones launched in China and often sells them under the same name in other parts of the world. For example, the OnePlus Ace 3 is basically the same phone as the OnePlus 12R that was launched in foreign markets. The company has already confirmed that two phones will launch in China in December: the OnePlus Ace 5 and its Pro variant. Additionally, OnePlus CEO Louis Lee has confirmed in an official post that the company’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 3-based phone will offer users the same amount of power as its rivals equipped with the newer Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. .
