Samsung’s new Galaxy S25 series of smartphones, including the standard, plus and ultra models, have just received Wi-Fi certification. This certification indicates a significant improvement in the communication capabilities of these devices.
One of the most important new features of this series is support for the 7th generation wireless standard (Wi-Fi 802.11be), or Wi-Fi 7. This new technology significantly improves data transfer speed, connection stability and network capacity. Compared to the Galaxy S24, which used Wi-Fi 6E, this upgrade is a big step forward.
In addition to Wi-Fi 7, the Galaxy S25 Plus and Ultra models will also support Ultra Wide Band (UWB) technology. This technology enables very accurate and secure communication with other devices and has various applications in different fields such as mobile payments, file transfer and interaction with smart home devices.
Samsung had previously used Wi-Fi 7 in some of its products, such as the special edition Galaxy Fold and Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra. However, this is the first time this technology has been used in the flagship Galaxy S series. In 2025, all flagship Samsung Galaxy models are expected to support Wi-Fi 7.
The Samsung Galaxy S25 series defines new standards in the field of smartphone wireless communication by using advanced technologies such as Wi-Fi 7 and UWB. These devices elevate the user experience to a higher level by providing unparalleled speed, stability and communication capabilities.
