The German government has been a staunch supporter of Israel and Schultz has repeatedly emphasized Germany’s special responsibility for Israel’s security.

In the meantime, the German Foreign Minister announced today (Friday) that Berlin is considering how to respond to the decision of the International Criminal Court to arrest the Prime Minister of Israel.
