Requesting the German government to stop supporting the Zionist regime/Berlin: We are reviewing the judgment of the Hague Court
After the decision of the International Criminal Court to issue an arrest warrant for the officials of the Zionist regime, the government supporting this regime in Germany faced increasing pressure to end its support for the occupiers.
According to RCO News Agency, one of the prominent legislators of the left wing of Germany wrote on social media: “This arrest warrant against “Benjamin Netanyahu” and “Yoav Galant”, the former Prime Minister and Minister of War of Israel, is a slap in the face of the government of Olaf Schultz, Chancellor and Analena Berbuk. He is the foreign minister of Germany.
According to Anatolia News agency, this German lawmaker also urged Berlin to immediately impose arms embargoes against the Zionist regime.
He continued: “What else is needed for the federal government to end its support for the Netanyahu government’s war crimes in Gaza?” An arms embargo against Israel must be implemented now!
The German government has been a staunch supporter of Israel and Schultz has repeatedly emphasized Germany’s special responsibility for Israel’s security.
“Nikol Goelke”, a legislator of the German Left Party, also urged the government to take immediate action and said: “The arrest warrants for Netanyahu and Gallant are important signs that Israel’s war crimes will also have consequences.” “I expect that the German government will finally stop its deadly support for the war crimes of the Israeli government.”
“Isabel Cadmartori”, a legislator of the Social Democratic Party of Germany, also demanded to stop sending weapons to the Zionist regime and said: “The German government should immediately stop the delivery of weapons to the war criminal Netanyahu, who is wanted under an international arrest warrant.”
In the meantime, the German Foreign Minister announced today (Friday) that Berlin is considering how to respond to the decision of the International Criminal Court to arrest the Prime Minister of Israel.
He told the ARD news channel: “We are now carefully examining what it means to implement it in Germany.” “Whether or not the German authorities will move to arrest Netanyahu or Yoav Galant is a theory at this point.”
The German diplomat also added that Germany is “bound” as a country that recognizes this court and respects international laws.
