Coca Cola On the occasion of Christmas, a series of advertisements with artificial intelligence Produced and published which has had different and interesting feedbacks on social networks.
According to Forbes report, Coca-Cola collaborated with 3 artificial intelligence studios (Wild Card, Silverside AI and Secret Level) to make these ads and took help from artificial intelligence models Luma, Leonardo, Runway and Kling to make them, but the videos produced by these models have shown the weaknesses and limitations of current video production models.
Social media users have reacted to the ad below, which is a quick montage of very short clips featuring several vehicles and close-ups of smiling faces, claiming that the AI wasn’t that challenging to produce.
Of course, with this video ad, Coca-Cola has somehow tried to pay tribute to one of its iconic and old ads for Christmas in 1995 called “Holidays Are Coming”.
The new AI-made version also features red trucks decorated with Christmas lights and an image of Santa, just like the 90s ad, and a close-up of some happy, smiling faces that are shown very quickly.
Reaction of users and experts to Coca-Cola advertisement
Coca-Cola probably did not expect that this ad would be met with different and rather critical reactions. Many experts in the field of film and television have declared that they have not been affected by it, and many have considered artificial intelligence technology to be the cause of weakening the workforce and eliminating jobs.
Alex Hirsch, the creator of the Gravity Falls television series, is one of these people, jokingly writing in his post:
“Coca-Cola is red; Because it was made from the blood of unemployed artists.
Another user wrote:
“This is how (artificial intelligence) is always going to be used. “This technology is a way for super-rich executives to add a few million more to their annual bonuses by eliminating creative teams entirely.”
