Samsung’s next Galaxy Unpacked event will be held in August this year. In this ceremony, the company’s new foldable phones will be unveiled along with the 6th generation of smart watches. New rumors say that Samsung has used the new Exynos chip in this watch.
According to Tekna technology and technology news service, Samsung has registered a new chip named S5E5515 to receive Bluetooth certification. This is despite the fact that the Exynos W920 chips that were used in the previous generation watches also had the same number.
Of course, Samsung’s new chip may be an improved version of the W920. According to the information contained in the Bluetooth certification, this chip is believed to support Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.3 and will probably support RF as well. Previous reports stated that the next Exynos chip is about 10% faster than the W920 model. It is possible that Samsung will implement the target team with better production or increased frequency.
This chip will be used in both Galaxy Watch 6 and 6 Classic models. Also, the new smart watches that will be unveiled at the event will be equipped with WrarOS 4 operating system and One UI 5 Watch user interface.
