Obama: America does not need “4 more years” of Trump in the White House
During a speech in Pennsylvania, Obama directly asked male voters not to vote for Trump and to support Harris in the November 5 presidential election.
According to Isna, former US President Barack Obama is a staunch supporter of Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris, and this speech was held at the University of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania while Harris was campaigning in Nevada and Arizona.
In remarks that criticized Trump both for his personality and his policy proposals, Obama pointed to male voters and urged them to vote for Harris, according to Reuters.
He added: “I’m sorry, gentlemen. I’ve noticed this especially with some men who think Trump’s behavior is a sign of power, bullying and putting people down. “I’m here to tell you that’s not real power.”
“True power is helping people who need it and standing up for those who can’t always stand on their own two feet,” Obama continued. This is what we should want for our sons and daughters.”
The former US president also said at the gathering that Trump only cares about himself and money, stressing that Harris grew up in the middle class and believes in American values.
He added: The United States does not need “four more years” of Trump in the White House.
He continued: We don’t need four more years of pride, failure, uproar and division. America is ready to turn the page. We are ready for a better story that helps us work together instead of against each other. We are ready for a president like Kamala Harris. Like any presidential candidate, Kamala is ready for this.
In the meantime, Trump’s election campaign rejected Obama’s words, and the spokesperson of this campaign said: “If anyone cared about Obama’s words, Hillary Clinton would have been president.”
