According to the empowerment manager of the Innovation and Prosperity Fund, 20 knowledge-based companies with sales below 100 billion tomans will be present at the GITEX 2024 exhibition in Dubai.
According to Arash Haji Mirmalek, Empowerment Manager of the Innovation and Prosperity Fund, this year a pavilion of knowledge-based companies consisting of 20 companies related to the GITEX exhibition will attend this event.
He stated that the total sales of these companies is less than 100 billion Tomans; He said: In the pavilions, between 20 and 50% of the expenses are borne by the companies themselves, and the rest is paid by the Innovation and Prosperity Fund, for which about 30% of the expenses are paid by the companies and 70% is paid by the fund.
According to him, we will not have a pavilion in the Global Gitex section, because our goal is to develop the market of knowledge-based companies, and Iranian companies are somehow more in the startup section of the exhibition.
Mirmalek pointed out: We are going to coordinate “b2b” meetings to attract capital and sell products. Only knowledge-based companies are present in this exhibition, which are in the field of information technology and related to the fields of Jitex exhibition. In the field of information technology and software sectors (health, energy, smart city), cloud infrastructure, artificial intelligence, fintech, education technologies, telecom are considered GITEX fields.
Emphasizing that we select companies that have the initial ability to export and can provide product samples, he said: “Innovation and prosperity fund empowerment services include various areas, market development is one part. “We have defined the development of the market of knowledge-based companies, both domestic and foreign, as services, one of which is to attend exhibitions.”
He added: “These exhibitions have an internal section and an external section. In the internal exhibition, we support knowledge-based companies in two ways: independent presence and setting up a pavilion. At Gitex, we also support smaller companies with sales of less than 35 billion tomans, or a company that rents a booth and builds a booth, and we support 70% up to 40 million tomans.
Mirmalek pointed out: “In relation to the exhibition of foreigners, it is the same way, only for them we support companies with sales below 100 billion tomans, and independently 70% of their expenses can be paid up to 200 million, which in addition to the booth It includes the cost of visa, flight and hotel.
He stated that on the other hand, we are trying to plan 10, 20 pavilions, and in the exhibitions, we define the pavilion program for companies that have capabilities, but have jobs and need support to export and get international connections.
