The accused has many Instagram pages, with a significant number of followers, he is active in the field of buying and selling and extracting historical objects, and for years, he has been publicly making extensive advertisements to loot the nation’s antique and historical objects, and through cyberspace with The addressee goes to historical places and excavates and at the same time broadcasts live and starts explaining to the viewers how to excavate and loot historical property. Also, insulting the officers of the cultural heritage protection unit, making fun of the cultural heritage institutions, calling the cultural heritage officers bribe-taking and drunk, intentional assault, insulting people and participating in a group fight are some of the other actions of this person, based on which the Bison Court made its decision. issued.”
The court verdict states:
The accused is sentenced to three and nine months of imprisonment for 1- digging and exploration with the intention of obtaining historical property, 2- buying and selling of historical and cultural property resulting from unauthorized digging and three years and nine months of imprisonment, 3- assisting in excavation and exploration to obtain historical property to 4- defamation, a fine of 80 million Tomans, 5- publishing falsehoods through computer to two years of imprisonment, and 6- insulting officers, to 74 lashes.
These rulings are preliminary and the defendant can request an appeal and retrial.
