According to RCO News Agency, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said in his nightly video, referring to his country’s future plans: “The American and Ukrainian teams are preparing for the upcoming meeting of the Ukrainian Defense Contact Group in Ramstein, Germany.”
According to Euronews, the president of Ukraine added that the country and its allies plan to sign the 27th security agreement during this meeting, and the issue of “weapons and equipment for soldiers” will probably be discussed in this meeting.
Last week, Volodymyr Zelensky arrived in New York to participate in the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly, and then he traveled to Washington to talk with US President Joe Biden and present a plan known as the “Victory Plan”, and he was trying to To receive security guarantees and also more weapons from America and its allies for the war with Russia.
But the “Wall Street Journal” newspaper wrote in a report referring to the visit of the President of Ukraine: “Despite Zelensky’s efforts in line with the victory plan to receive security guarantees and more weapons, the officials of the Biden administration have expressed skepticism about the plan of the President of Ukraine, fearing the escalation of tensions with Russia And they have asked for more details.”
