The CNN poll immediately after the debate / Harris surprised America! – Mehr news agency RCO News Agency

According to the Mehr News Agency, CNN’s instant poll about the first debate between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump, respectively the candidates of the Democrats and Republicans in the 2024 US presidential election, supports the victory of Harris in this debate from the eyes of the voters.

In the poll, 63 percent of TV viewers (a group not generally considered representative of all voters) said Harris was the winner. Only 37% considered Trump the winner of this debate.

Harris’ clear victory is remarkable because the same group of voters showed up at the debate with different expectations. 50% of the people present before the debate, in response to the question of who they think will win, predicted Harris and 50% chose Trump!

The instant poll was conducted Tuesday night by sending an SMS to voters who agreed to participate in the poll before the debate. The error rate of this survey is more or less than 5.3 percentage points.

The results of this poll differ significantly from the results of the poll after the debate between Trump and Joe Biden, the president and the Democratic candidate at the time, before he withdrew. In that poll, which was held in June, two out of three voters watching the debate considered Trump the winner, and only a third claimed Biden’s better performance!
