Watch: Renault 5 electric was unveiled

Renault unveiled the Renault 5 electric car at the 2024 Geneva Motor Show. This car is inspired by the Renault car of the 70s.

This electric car uses a 52 kWh battery with a range of 400 km. Renault is going to release another version of these cars with a 40 kWh battery and a range of 300 km.

The 52 kWh model has an engine with a power of 150 horsepower and a torque of 245 Nm, and its maximum speed reaches 150 km/h.

Renault 5 electric has a fast charging capability of 80 kW for the smaller battery and 100 kW for the larger battery and can charge the batteries from 15 to 80 percent within half an hour.

The electric Renault 5 is supposed to be released in Europe with a base price of 25,000 euros.
