LG has introduced a small two-legged robot that can freely roam around your home and take care of your pet. This robot is going to be exhibited at CES 2024.
This smart robot is equipped with Qualcomm's RB5 Robotics platform, which is designed to implement the robot's artificial intelligence capabilities. These phablets include recognizing faces and voices, processing the emotions of others and participating in conversations. The LG robot can even greet you, analyze your emotions and play music to help you feel relaxed.
The robot has articulated legs that allow it to change its body position. It also has a camera, a speaker, and various sensors all over its body that give it the ability to move, talk, and listen.
This robot can even measure the temperature inside the house and tell you. Of course, it is not yet clear whether this robot can connect to the smart home system and control the thermostat or not.
Being able to move freely, this robot can be programmed to take care of your pet and notify you through notifications on your smartphone if it sees any unusual activity.
This robot can even be used as a home security guard to notify you of anything suspicious when you are out and about.
