A new report suggests that OpenAI may soon iroduce a new subscription plan called Pro Lite for $100 to access ChatGPT. This plan can bridge the price gap between Plus and Pro and is especially attractive to professional ChatGPT users who need a higher level of use of this chatbot.
According to Gizmochina, Tibor Blaho, a software developer, found a reference to this scheme in the fro-end code of the web version of ChatGPT. He says the naming structure and user ierface texts clearly poi to a new subscription plan. OpenAI has not yet confirmed the plan, and its release date or official details are unknown.
ChatGPT Pro Lite subscription bridges the gap between Plus and Pro subscriptions
OpenAI currely offers several subscription levels, including a free version, Go plan for $8 per moh, Plus for $20, Pro for $200, and Team, Business, and Eerprise plans. Many users have criticized the large price jump between the Plus and Pro, seeing it as a barrier for professional users to upgrade. The Pro Lite design can bridge this gap and provide an iermediate option for this group.

Reports suggest that the Pro Lite subscription is specifically targeting groups such as freelancers, researchers, and developers. These groups need more usage and more advanced features, but don’t justify paying $200 per moh for the Pro plan. The price of $100 can create a balance between cost and features and attract a new segme of the market.
Checking the codes shows that ChatGPT Pro Lite probably offers more features than Plus and less than Pro. Evidence suggests that this plan can provide three to five times more use of deep reasoning models than the Plus subscription. This is importa for users who are involved in complex coe creation, data analysis, or advanced programming.
Codex also meions better Codex support for programming. This suggests that OpenAI is likely to design the Pro Lite plan with a focus on developers and small software teams. Such an approach can strengthen ChatGPT’s position in the market of iellige programming tools.
The financial coext of this decision is also very importa. Reports show that OpenAI is facing an annual loss of about $14 billion despite its $20 billion revenue and needs to increase its revenue by attracting premium users.
