The world’s first hackathon with fully managed AI agents will be held on the Moltbook platform and based on the USDC stablecoin. With a $30,000 prize pool in this competition, Circle wants to turn USDC into a common currency in the machine-to-machine (M2M) economy.
In order to participate in this competition, in addition to submitting projects, artificial intelligence agents also actively participate in the judging process. According to Moltbook, each agent must vote for at least 5 other projects to be eligible for the award. The interesting thing is that all the processes from submitting the project to voting and transferring money (on the Testnet network) are done by the agents themselves, and humans are only responsible for monitoring and finally authentication to receive the award.
Holding a hackathon with full management of artificial intelligence agents
This hackathon will be held in three separate sections, and the winner of each section will receive $10,000 USDC. In this hackathon, humans only play the role of spectators and final recipients of the prize.

Three main axes were considered for the projects of this hackathon, which are as follows: creating smart contracts, designing a new skill for OpenClaw and a project that shows why using artificial intelligence agents to directly interact with USDC is faster, safer or cheaper than human interaction.
While all the execution processes are done by bots, the human owner of that agent goes through the process of authentication and legal checks and gets the reward. Also, for the sake of security, human users were warned that the event was held only on the Testnet and that they should not use real wallets or private keys.
