Lenovo has released a new update for its ThinkBook 14 Plus and 16 Plus laptops, which use configurations equipped with the Ryzen AI 7 H 450 processor. Both models are now available in China via JD.com, with the 32GB RAM and 1TB SSD version priced at 6,999 yuan ($1,008).
The new models are equipped with a Ryzen AI 7 H 450 processor with 8 cores, 16 threads, a boost frequency of 5.1GHz and an internal neural processing unit (NPU) that is capable of providing up to 50 TOPS of artificial intelligence calculations. Lenovo has used integrated graphics card Radeon 860M based on RDNA 3.5 architecture for graphics processing. Both laptops support high-performance outputs, with the ThinkBook 14 Plus offering up to 80W and the ThinkBook 16 Plus up to 83W.
Lenovo has equipped both models with 32GB LPDDR5X RAM with a speed of 8533MT/s and 1TB PCIe 4.0 TLC SSD. These laptops also support two M.2 2280 slots, expandable up to 8TB. Each device has a 99.9Wh battery and benefits from fast charging with the included 140W GaN adapter. Lenovo claims that the battery can be charged up to 60% in 30 minutes when the laptop is turned off.
Both laptops have ForcePad touchpad, keyboard with 1.5mm key spacing and fingerprint power button, IR camera with privacy cover, support for MagicBay accessories and four-speaker Dolby Atmos sound system.

The design of both models is the same and the all-metal body includes levels A, C and D. Both laptops support 180-degree hinge design and come in Starry White and Moonlight Gray colors.
Connections and ports include two USB4 ports, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, HDMI 2.1 FRL with 48Gbps bandwidth, RJ45 Ethernet port, SD card reader, 3.5mm audio jack and Wi-Fi 7 support. Lenovo has also provided the TGX interface for connecting an external graphics card (eGPU).
Thinkbook 14 Plus has a 14.5-inch screen with a resolution of 3072 x 1920 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, 100% DCI-P3 color coverage, and a brightness of up to 500 nits. In contrast, the ThinkBook 16 Plus uses a larger 16-inch panel with a resolution of 3,200 x 2,000 pixels, offers a higher refresh rate of 165Hz, and maintains the same color and brightness accuracy as the 14 Plus model. The larger body also allows the use of a numeric keypad.
Both laptops are Pantone certified, Pantone SkinTone and TÜV certified for low blue light.
