Chery Exeed Sterra ES – Chery Exeed Sterra ES is the first all-electric sedan of Chery’s Exeed series and will eer the market next fall.
The Exeed series, which includes Chery’s high-end cars, will have a new member in a few mohs. Recely, Chery Oxide Astra ES appeared at the Shanghai Auto Show and was seen on the streets of China after that. It is expected that the supply of this all-electric sedan will begin in December with a price between 200,000 and 300,000 yuan (about 28,000 to 42,000 dollars).
Chery Oxide Astra ES with an all-aluminum chassis has dimensions of 4945/1978/1480 mm and the distance between the fro and rear axles reaches 3000 mm.
For the drive system, buyers will have two choices: single differeial (2WD) and single engine; or four-wheel drive (4WD) and two motors that come with 800V fast charging system and CATL batteries.
This all-electric car has a range of 700 km and thanks to fast charging, it gets the necessary power to travel 150 km in just 5 minutes; At least as Cherry claims.
The design of the Sterra ES is also quite sporty with that fro grill that represes the car’s electric nature, those poied headlights on both sides and the recessed LED lights in the middle.
In the upper part of the windshield, lidar system hardware has been installed to play the role of the driver’s assista. At the back of the car, in addition to the one-piece light, the thing that attracts atteion is a lying fin that rises automatically.
From the side view, we can see the leaning back of the car and its pop-up handles, which have become quite popular these days. Add all this to chrome-rimmed windows and a panoramic sunroof.
Chery has a minimalistic approach to car cabin design; But nothing is missing: a small LCD amp screen, a floating 15.6-inch ceral corol display, a head-up display and a multi-function steering wheel with rolling physical buttons on both sides!
The ceral console also supports wireless charging. Also, according to the manufacturer, there are more than 30 small and large spaces for storing items and documes inside the car.
It goes without saying that the Cherry Oxide Astra ES processing system is based on the Snapdragon 8295 chip and the Huawei Harmony operating system.
Once on the market, the Sterra ES will compete directly with the likes of the Leapmotor C01, the BYD Han EV, and the Neta S.
