Samsung unveiled the budget phone Galaxy A07 with a large battery

Samsung has just unveiled the Galaxy A07 5G phone; An economic model that is supposed to enter the Indian market before the release of the Galaxy S26 flagship series. This phone will be officially released in the first week of February.

Contrary to speculations about the introduction of the Galaxy S26, Samsung is currently focusing on the introduction of the Galaxy A07 5G; The model that was previously released in some markets including Thailand and the Philippines, and its Indian version will also be in line with the global version in terms of specifications.

Galaxy A07 is a budget phone and Samsung has announced that this model will be available at an affordable price. The most important strength of this phone is its high-capacity battery. The version launched in India will also be equipped with a 6000 mAh battery like other markets.

Specifications and features of Samsung Galaxy A07 5G

According to Samsung’s official information, the Galaxy A07 will be equipped with a 6.7-inch HD+ display, which is likely to be of the LCD type. The display supports a 120 Hz refresh rate and reaches a maximum brightness of 800 nits in high brightness mode (HBM). The design of the display has a teardrop notch and for biometric authentication, a fingerprint sensor is installed on the side of the body. Samsung has announced that the screen of this phone is protected by “two-stage resistant glass”.

Galaxy A07 launched in India is equipped with a 6000mAh battery and supports 25W fast charging. Samsung has not yet officially announced the name of the processor, but the global version of this phone uses the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chip and the Indian version is expected to be equipped with the same chip.

In the camera department, the Galaxy A07 5G has a dual camera on the back panel, including a 50-megapixel main sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. In the front part, there is an 8-megapixel camera for recording selfies.

Although the exact launch date, final price and special offers for the Indian market are yet to be announced, the phone is already available in Thailand at a price of THB 5,499 (roughly INR 15,800) for the 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The 6 GB RAM and 128 GB internal memory version is also sold at a price of 5,999 Thai baht (about 17,200 Indian rupees).

The global version of the Galaxy A07 5G has an IP54 certification for dust and splash resistance. This phone comes with Android 16 operating system and One UI 8.0 user interface. The thickness of the device is 8.2 mm and its weight is 199 grams.
