Nabih Berri’s latest stance on Lebanon’s ceasefire – Mehr news agency RCO News Agency

According to Mehr news agency, citing Al-Ahed, Speaker of the Lebanese Parliame, Nabih Berri, while emphasizing the preservation of Lebanon’s fixed principles, announced: We adhere to the ceasefire agreeme of 2024 and the Mechanism Committee, both outwardly and inwardly.

The Speaker of the Lebanese Parliame strongly condemned the spread of lies and false news that harms Lebanon’s position, causes iernal confusion and suggests that Lebanon has completely failed Israel and abandoned its fixed principles.

He said: Our position is clear, we not only adhere to the ceasefire agreeme, but we insist on it, and we are also committed to the mechanism committee, both in terms of structure and nature.

Barry added: The mechanism committee is basically a result of the ceasefire agreeme and Lebanon is a beneficiary in this committee to stop Israeli aggression. That is, the mission of this committee is to impleme the agreeme, monitor its implemeation and preve violations of the agreeme and attacks; But from the very beginning, despite the negative performance of this committee and its inability to play its assigned role, Israel has sought to dismale and destroy this committee.
