This announcement was made at the ceremony of introducing the latest achievements of the Atomic Energy Organization in the field of laser, photonics and quantum technologies. Eslami emphasized that neglecting future-oriented technologies such as quantum can make the country face scientific backwardness.

According to the head of the Atomic Energy Organization, the Iranian quantum computer project has reached the technology proof stage and is going to be introduced with an initial capacity.
