The Alexa Plus website is now live for a limited group of users. The service hosts a redesigned version of the company’s digital voice assista at Alexa.com. Alexa Plus was first unveiled at an eve in March, but it had not been available online before.
According to reports, select users can now access the new Alexa Plus web ierface and have an experience similar to the Alexa chatbot app. This ierface, after logging in to the Amazon user accou, offers advanced ieractive features and structure that make it easier to use the voice assista and access its features.
Launch of the Alexa Plus website
The Alexa Plus web ierface consists of a large screen with a blue and white background, above a text box, the welcome message “Hello Jen, how can I help?” is displayed. This box allows you to upload a file, and at the bottom of it are drop-down menus such as Plan ,Learn ,Create ,Shop and Find It can be seen that each includes default settings to help the user ieract with the AI.


Examples of these default suggestions are: “Plan for my next getaway”, “Create a study guide for my exam”, “Shop trending products” and “Book a table for a restaura”. At the bottom of the screen, a small warning with the text “Alexa may not always get it right” reminds users that the answers of Alexa Plus are not always complete and accurate.


The toolbar on the left provides quick access to rece chats (including chats through Echo devices), corol of smart home devices, calendar, Alexa lists, reminders, tasks, and a section for files. In the files section, you can access all the files and photos that have been uploaded, as well as the emails se to Alexa Plus. Many of these features were already available on the Echo devices and app, but now they’re easier to ieract with via a keyboard and larger screen.
This web ierface allows for easier ieraction with Alexa Plus and is a significa upgrade over the old app, which is still clunky and inefficie. With this ierface, Amazon has tried to iegrate Alexa Plus seamlessly io the daily activities of users and turn it io an artificial ielligence assista beyond the home that can compete with services such as ChatGPT, Claude and Gemina. Currely, access to Alexa.com is limited and requires Alexa Plus membership and a Prime accou. Amazon has also announced that this service will be available in the future through a mohly subscription of $19.
