After a string of successful remakes, Bandai Namco’s next choice for the Tales series is a bit odd. This time it is the turn of Tales of Berseria Remastered, which will be released on February 27, 2026 (8 March 1404) for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, PC and Niendo Switch.
It should be said that Tales of Berseria is an action role-playing work that offers a darker and more emotional story than other games in the series. The ceer of the story is a girl named Velot, who after a terrible betrayal, starts a dangerous journey for revenge. He has an adveure in a special land with a group of differe and special characters
This new version is available for $39.99 and its pre-purchase includes a bundle with various in-game items. The deluxe version will also be released for $59.99 and includes the background battle music pack, digital artbook, and digital soundtrack in addition to the standard edition items.

But what new features are offered visually? Almost the same things we expect from other remasters. In addition to the visual improveme of the game, destination markers, the option to turn off the encouer with enemies and access to the Grade store from the beginning, as well as all the downloadable coe of the original version, can be found in this remake.
However, the reactions to this iroduction have not been great. Tales of Berseria was released in 2016 and despite its age, it still has good quality. Of course, this is an opportunity for Xbox and Switch users to finally play it, while Tales of Xillia 2 remains a PlayStation 3 exclusive, perhaps in 2027, or maybe we’ll finally see the next original Tales series.
