One of the great surprises in the smartphone’s performance is the full failure of the Apple’s iPhone 4 Max against the Samsung Galaxy S25. The highlight of this “Speed” experiment is that the Samsung flagship managed to surpass its longtime rival by maintaining a significant difference. In one of the test steps, the Galaxy S25 was three apps ahead of the IPhone 6 Pro Max, which was the decisive factor in the final result.
After several consecutive crash tests to examine the durability of the two flagships that the Phonebuff channel equal to, the channel is now returned with a speed test that puts the Peruk Max against its closest competitor in the smartphone market, the Galaxy S25 Ultra.
Most people may imagine that because the best Samsung phone in this test uses the Snapdragon 2 Elite chipset, not the newer version of the Snapdragon Elite Gen 5, so it should naturally be slower than the iPhone 5 Pro Max with the A19 Chipset, but the reality is something else. The Ultra Galaxy S25 has enough time to optimize and now runs more quickly, which is clearly seen in the recent test.
In fact, the iPhone 6 Pro Max is three behind the Galaxy S25 Ultra and spends more time on video output testing, where Apple devices are usually able to compensate for the backwardness. Our guess is that the iOS 26 operating system still needs a lot of optimization, including the iOS 26.1 Beta 1, which is available to developers on September 1 (September 1) and needs to solve problems.
In the first round of the test, the IPhone 6 Pro Max reached the end line with 5 seconds, and in the second round, the status did not improve and the Samsung flagship remained at the forefront and finished the speed test with a few seconds.
- IPhone 4 Pro Max
- First Round – 1 minute and 2 seconds (1: 1: 1)
- Second Round – 2 Seconds (1: 2.3)
- Galaxy S25 Ultra
- First Round – 1 minute and 2 seconds (1: 1: 1)
- Second Round – 2 Seconds (1: 1)
Undoubtedly, both the IPhone 4 Pro Max and the Galaxy S25 Ultra have high hardware power and will perform well for ordinary users. But the important thing to consider from this speed test is the importance of software optimization along with the use of high -level hardware specifications.
