According to Mehr, Mohammad Nabi Shahiki Tash, Vice Preside of Technology and Innovation at the Ministry of Science, announced the change in the “Technology Assista” project at a meeting of academic science and technology parks held today (Sunday, October 23) at Amir Kabir University Science and Technology Park.
Shaki Taheh said:
“Technology Assista is a very good idea in terms of theoretical foundations, but in practice less than 5 % has achieved its goals. “5 % of the technology assista companies had less than 2 million USD annually and could not be able to convey the appropriate experience to the studes.”
According to him, technology assistas have doubled, but along with more strict standards for the presence of studes and host companies have been set to increase the effectiveness of the plan.
Shahiki Tash also said about the evaluation of science and technology parks:
“By the end of the year, the license of 5 Science and Technology Park will be canceled and specialized and efficie parks will be formed instead. “For example, one of the largest artificial ielligence parks in the coury is launching.”
He emphasized that the Ministry of Science’s approach is from quaitative developme to qualitative developme, adding:
“The new parks will only be licensed if you pass the training courses and have the necessary infrastructure. Parks that do not have an acceptable activity are stopped or iegrated. ”
According to the statistics provided, there are currely 2 science and technology parks and 5 growth ceers in the coury, with 2,800 technology and knowledge -based units operating in these ceers. Three research and technology funds are also providing services to the innovation ecosystem.
