A miniature statue of northern France, five years ago, may provide clues to the hair of huers and ancie collectors at that time. The statue was discovered in an open -air area about 2 kilometers north of Paris, AMIENS RENANCOURT, but scieists have recely described it. To learn more about the statue, go with Digino.
The sculpture discovered has long hair that is apparely woven with a network pattern and can represe a hairstyle or a special hairstyle. Olivier Touz from the University of Belgium’s Ligo, who did not participate in the study, says it is differe from the sculptures found in ceral and eastern Europe, where the hairstyle or hairstyle is shorter and covers the head more. The unique hairstyle of this statue may represe the fashion of that time and region.
Cleme Paris, a member of the team at the National Institute of Preveive Archaeological Research, said the model could be a cultural feature that was never shown except through rare human represeations. Radiocarbenic stone date in the area shows that the statue is about 5 years old and turns it io a part of the Grotti period, which coinued throughout Europe from 5 to 6,000 years ago.

After this period, the huer or collector left for nearly 6,000 years northwestern Europe due to the very cold and dry conditions of the last ice age. Gregory Abrams from the University of Ge in Belgium, who did not participate in this study, says that the existence of a sophisticated ornameation or hairstyle indicates the accuracy and coainers used to make this small statue.
After other excavations in the Amiens Renancourt area, several old and more than twelve sculptures, including Venus sculptures that represe women, were discovered. Touz says the site apparely had a special workshop for the production of sculpture. However, questions about the statue have been found and the idea behind it remains in the minds of the researchers. Paris has said that the thoughts and myths of the prehistoric era have few works. Even when the explorers attain works like the statue, their meaning is still vague.
