Openai has announced that it is developing an artificial intelligence -based recruitment platform to connect businesses and employees. The service can place the ChatGPT manufacturer in a close competition with LinkedIn.
The new service is called the Openai Job Platform, and the company’s spokesman said it is expected to be launched by mid -year. Fiji Simo, CEO of OpenAI apps, announced in a blog post to launch the new service, saying the company “will use artificial intelligence to find the best compliance between corporate needs and employee capabilities.”
Openai wants to compete with LinkedIn
Simo also added that the service will provide a dedicated route for small businesses and local governments to access the top artificial intelligence talents. Openai is apparently interested in diversifying its artificial intelligence -based services and offering products beyond ChatGPT chats.
Sam Altman, CEO of Openai, had earlier said that Simo would monitor several apps beyond chathes. These seem to include Openai Job Platform and possibly other services that Openai is said to work on them, including a browser and a social network app.
Openai has also announced that it intends to submit certificates for people with different levels of artificial literacy through the Openai Academy. A spokesman for the company said the OpenAI certificate trial program will be launched late in the year.
OpenAI Recruitment Platform can put the company in direct competition with LinkedIn; A company that has been founded by Reed Hoffman, one of Openai’s first investors. LinkedIn ownership also belongs to Microsoft, and Microsoft itself is one of the biggest supporters of Openai.
Openai says they launch these programs in line with the White House’s initiative to expand artificial intelligence literacy. Altman and other largest technology companies held a dinner at the White House on Thursday with US President Donald Trump.
