Sam Altman, CEO of Openai, believes that the term “comprehensive artificial ielligence”, or Agi, is gradually gaining its importance because of rapid progress in this area; Because it is harder to define this concept than in the past.
According to CNBC, artificial ielligence usually refers to artificial ielligence that can do any iellectual work that humans can do. Openai has been working safely and useful for all humanity for many years. But now the CEO of the company says that the high speed of progress in the field of artificial ielligence has needed to redefine the concept of comprehensive artificial ielligence.
Perhaps a new definition for syhetic comprehensive ielligence
“I don’t think the term is very useful,” Sam Altman said in an ierview with the Squawk Box program CNBC, when asked if he was asked whether the latest model of Openai, Gpt-5, recely iroduced the world to AGI, said. Altman had earlier said that he thinks AGI could develop in a relatively near future.

According to Altman, the problem with AGI is that companies and people use many definitions for it. He also noted that one of the definitions is that AGI -level artificial ielligence should be able to do a significa portion of the work in the world. However, this definition is also difficult, because the nature of the work is constaly changing.
“I think the main thing is that this is not really importa and we will only rely on the exponeial and coinuous growth of models to do more and more,” Almanman said.
Openai and other artificial ielligence companies have so far spe tens of billions of dollars developing artificial ielligence models to achieve comprehensive artificial ielligence. A company like Meta is also looking to launch a laboratory for artificial clouds by investing in great investme and attracting the best tales of the artificial ielligence market.
