In an ierview with Wired Magazine, Dipmand emphasized that the emergence of “public artificial ielligence” or AGI could transform human society and redefine the role of key industries such as health, education and knowledge economics.
Demis Hassabis, CEO of Deepmind, and pioneers of artificial ielligence developme in the world, recely announced the unprecedeed acceleration of AGI (public artificial ielligence), saying that the technology could soon undermine social industries and structures.
According to him, AGI will be able to perform at the level of human cognitive abilities in differe fields and significaly increase productivity in industries such as health, education, rights and financial markets. He also warned that businesses should be ready to quickly automate tasks, emerging market opportunities and transformation.
Dipmind’s new models, such as Gemini, have reportedly achieved human performance in some tests. In this regard, the investme of companies such as Microsoft and Openai in rece years reflects the iensive global competition for AGI.
Despite these advances, there are also challenges on the way; Including extensive job moves (with the forecast of eliminating 2 million jobs by year 2) and ethical issues such as algorithm discrimination and the lack of transparency of artificial ielligence decisions.
Hassabis has called for the formulation of smart policies and preveive measures to manage these developmes.
Forecasts show that AGI can be achieved by year 2 and raise an increase of up to $ 1.5 trillion in the global economy. In Iran, experts have called for special atteion to this technology, governme and private investme, and the training of specialized force to effectively eer the global competition.
Agi is no longer a scieific dream; This technology is on the verge of eering our daily lives. But as they have the opportunity, there is also a threat; From fundameal changes in jobs to ethical and security consequences. Now is the time to prepare infrastructure, before it is too late.
