Wednesday this week, July 9, the technology world will look at Brooklyn in New York, where Samsung is expected to be the next Galaxy Antocked event. Samsung’s mid -year events are traditionally focused on folding phones, and this year is no exception. In addition to folding phones, the Korean company will unveil its latest smart watches. At the event, everyone is waiting for the official launch of the Galaxy Zed Fold 7, the Galaxy Zed Flip 7 and a more economical model called the Galaxy Zed Philip 7. Alongside these phones, the Samsung Wearable Family expands with the Galaxy Watch 8, Classic 8 and Watch 8 Ultra.
Galaxy Zed Fold 7: Peak of elegance and strength
The Galaxy Zed Fold 7 is designed to present an Ultra experience, though the title will not be officially used in its name. The most important rumor about this handset is its use of a 200 -megapixel main camera, similar to the sensor we saw in the Galaxy S5 Ultra and the special version of Zed Fold. However, other cameras seem to be not changing and still see a 10 -megapixel telephoto lens and a 12 -megapixel ultrasound lens. Salafi cameras will also include a 10 -megapixel sensor on the outer display and a 4 -megapixel module under the internal display. Samsung also points to the capabilities of advanced artificial intelligence in the camera sector, indicating that the AI will remain an important part of the company’s galactic identity.
Samsung’s main focus in this generation has been to reduce the thickness and weight of the folded. The company claims that the Fold 7 will be the thinnest and lightest horizontal folding handset to date. Although the official dimensions have not yet been confirmed, the leaked information refers to 8.9 mm thick and 4.2 mm in open mode and 215 grams. Some rumors even report 3.9 mm thick, although this number may be related to a specific part of the body. For comparison, the Galaxy Zed Fold 6 experiences a large redesign with a thickness of 12.1 and 5.6 mm and a weight of 239 grams. Even the special version of Zed Fold has a thickness of 10.6 and 4.9 mm. Of course, these measurements were made regardless of the camera’s island bumps.

However, this narrow design has also costs. The battery capacity will remain unchanged and will be 4400 mAh of the previous generation. The EU energy label shows that this battery will be enough for 40 hours and 28 minutes of use, which is slightly more than the Galaxy S5. It will also last at least 2,000 charging cycles before reaching 80 % of its initial capacity.
The label also confirms that the Galaxy Zed Fold 7 will have a dust and IP48 dust resistance certificate, which is no longer the highest standard for a folding phone. This handset will have a very good resistance to the crash and moderate repairability.

The beating heart of this phone is not surprising; We have already seen the Fold 7 in the Geekbench benchmark with the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chip. The model looks equipped with 12GB of RAM and releases in three versions of 256 GB, 512 GB and 1 TB. The leaked prices show that the base model is about 2,200 euros and the 512 GB version will be priced at around € 2,300, which shows a € 200 increase over the previous generation. Of course, Samsung is likely to be a gift as a gift during the purchase period.
Galaxy Zed Flip 7 and Zed Flip 7 Fe: Options for all
Given the rising costs, Samsung is expected to launch a cheaper folding handset this year. Known as the Galaxy Zed Flip 7, the model will inherit many of its design features from Zed Flip for the past six years.
The original model and Premium will be the Galaxy Zed Flip 7. The handset has a 4.1 -inch full -screen exterior, which is a significant improvement compared to the 3.4 -inch “folder” display. The model is also thinner and will be 13.7 mm in open mode, 6.5 mm thick and 188 grams. For comparison, the 2024 model was 14.9 and 6.9 mm thick and 187 grams. This change is not as impressive as the folded Zed, but it is still commendable.

Better news, the Flip 7 will have a larger battery with a capacity of 4300 mAh, which is 300 mAh more than the Flip 6 Zed and the Fe model. The FE model will probably have the same dimensions as Zed Flip 6.
Zed Flip 7 will come with Jet Black, Blue Shadow and Coral Red with a few other proprietary colors, while the FE model will have a simpler color palette including black and white.
These two models will be different in terms of processing power. Samsung appears to be using the new Exynos 2500 chip in the Premium Zed Flip 7 model, although the Snapdragon 8 Elite version may be sold in North America and China. In contrast, Zed Flip 7 FE is observed in benchmarks with an older Exynos 2400 chip. According to benchmarks, the FE model will only have 8GB of RAM and comes with 128 and 256GB memory. The Premium Zed Flip 7 model will use 12GB of RAM and 256 and 512GB memory.

Samsung also unveils the One UI 8 interface (Android 16 based on Android 16) with its new folding phones, though its beta versions are currently being tested on the Galaxy S5 series.
The price of the Galaxy Zed Flip 7 for the 512GB version will be about 1,400 euros or £ 1,200, which is 100 euros more expensive than the same version of Zed Flip 6 last year. In the case of the Galaxy Zed Philip 7, it will be priced at 1 million won, which is likely to be $ 800/800 euros/700 pounds.
Take a look at the future: Samsung Folding Folding Phone

Samsung is also expected to unveil a three -storey smartphone at Wednesday. The device is said to have a 6.49 -inch exterior and a 9.96 -inch main display. However, this product is likely to be very limited. The leaked information suggests that the handset will only be sold in Korea and China in very few.
The name of this model is found in the One UI 8 interface codes, indicating that we are facing a real product and not just a prototype to display at the event. However, most enthusiasts for buying a Galaxy Folding Folding phone will probably have to wait until next year. Given the rise in the price of the Fold 7, it is best not to ask about the price of this model.
Galaxy Watch 8 smart watches
Samsung unveiled the design of “Square” or “Square” last year with the introduction of the Galaxy Watch Oltra, and now it seems that the entire Watch 8 family will inherit this design language. Rendering of the three future models, the Galaxy Watch 8, Watch 8 Classic and Watch 8 Ultra, confirm this.
As the renderings can be seen, the Ultra model has a rotating margin (which surrounds a 1.5 -inch screen) and a Crown button. The Classic Watch Model also has a rotating margin, but the standard Watch 8 has only two buttons. The Ultra model also has a rotating button, but its margin does not appear to be rotable.
This year there will be no new chip for smart watches, and all three models are expected to use the same Exynos W1000 chip last year. The first two models should be available in Bluetooth and 4G versions, while the Ultra model will probably not have the base version of the Bluetooth and will only be available with 4G connectivity.
The new version of the Samsung Wearable OS, the One UI 8 Watch, is also on the way. This version will focus on health features such as sleep guidance, vascular load, antioxidant capabilities and an advanced runner.
The Galaxy Watch 8 will have a slightly larger battery than its previous generation; A minimal increase in 10 mAh in the 44mm version. Watch 8 and Watch 8 classic models support 10 watt charge, which is similar to previous models.
Interestingly, recently a classic Galaxy Watch’s prototype was released on EBay. It was a 46mm LTE version with 64GB of internal storage, twice the current Watch 7 and Watch Ultra.
Pre -purchase date
Samsung usually begins to buy new products immediately after the Anpacco event ended and will start their public sales two weeks later. This means that the Galaxy Zed Fold 7, Zed Flip 7 and Zed Flip 7 will be available on July 9 and will be officially released on July 25.
