Review of the film “Thunderbols”; Marvel and new revenge

Who was thinking about a movie about a series of implications for the people’s hearts? Certainly James Gun! But Marvel has come up with the same idea with Thunderbols, and now everyone is talking about Cambodia MCU. I still don’t know whether this is an exaggeration. But I know Thunderboltz is Marvel’s best film after “Avengers: Endgame”. Among the mults of Marvel Cinematic Cinema and TV series that are not worthy of coe production, Thunderboltz is a new film that has a clear vision and message. In the critique of Thunderboltz, I will address the change of Marvel’s approach, which will probably show itself more in the next phase.

Criticism of “Thunderboltz”; Past sefs, future champions

One of the results of Marvel’s coe production in the fourth and fifth phases of MCU was that he didn’t know what to do with all the heroes and the warehouses he had iroduced. Many of them are forgotten and never return to MCU; But some of the other projects are reunited. The heroes – or better to say the ai -hero – are the second group in Thunderboltz. You’ve seen them before in Phase 4 and Five films and serials, and are now brought together to form a new but famous superhero group; A group that becomes new revenge by the end of the film.

Before Valeina Allegra Baguan (Julia Lewis Dreyfus) was to iroduce new revenge, we see him at the beginning of the story that he iends to destroy any footpris in a hidden superhero -making project such as Captain America. He sends his mercenaries to a ceer in Utah to destroy all of them at the same time and destroy other evidence. These mercenaries are Yelna (Florence Pey), John Walker (White Russell), Ghost (Hannah Jan Kamen) and Task Morter (Olga Corillanko), who survive the overthrow of the offshore. But in the middle of a seemingly ordinary young man joins them as Bob (Lewis Polman). Bob is shy and timid, but there is a secret that he cannot remember.

But the secret of Bob will soon be revealed. He is the only one who came out of the live offshore laboratory and has such a power in him that none of the offshore mercenaries (and even all of them) can handle him. Bob – who gives him the name of the superhero ceer – quickly shows himself on his other: The Void, which is the physical embodime of despair. In the face of offshore and vacuum, Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan) and Alexei Shostakov (David Harbor) also join the Yelna, Walker and Ghost group. However, their total power cannot defeat the vacuum. His darkness gradually shades over the whole city, and everyone and everything in black.

Yelna, who, from the beginning, reminds us of the frustration and despair, deliberately walks io the dark and encouers her trams to finally penetrate the vacuum heart; Where Bob is hidden. Yelna, in a conversation with Bob (a conversation that goes beyond what is known today as therapy Talk), persuades her to overcome the darkness and preve the vacuum. The rest of the group members come with Yelna. After the shadow of the darkness is removed from the city, Valeina Barganeh is launching a new plan and iroducing Thunderboltz as new revenge.

Are Thunderboltz new generation heroes?

Once upon a time we were talking about the superhero, the faces of people like Christopher Rio and Chris Evans came to our minds. Marvel iroduces new superheroes with Thunderboltz; Depressed and Failed Superher Qur’an, which is forced to cooperate because of the inevitability and basically because they have no other purpose in life; Yelna is a secret age who has been trained for murder from a child and strokes in an ocean of darkness and darkness; Bucky Barnes, despite his Black record, is trying to gain a respectable position as a represeative of Congress; John Walker, who is taken from him as captain of America, feels the lack of his wife and child; Ghost is looking for a solution to his shaky physical condition, and Alexei, whose days is over, was to gain the confidence of his daughter.

These mercenaries and criminals, who form a group of alms, are no longer a symbol of superior humans (both physically and iellectual and moral); Not a role model for young audiences. Marvel has played the concept of “superhero” by iroducing these characters as “new revenge” and ceralizing the story of the Ceer/Wavid (whose powers are not rooted in absolute good or absolute evil). If anyone with any background can be a superhero, what else does that mean?

Thunderboltz gives the question a slogan with stereotypical Yelna dialogues. Anyone can be a superhero, and the first step is their acceptance, with all the darkness and poteial for beauty and then trust in the power of friendship and collaboration that with their help can overcome the problems! I admit that the hero of the story is struggling with depression and with a group of characters who have lost all in life, nothing can be flowers and nightlife; But Marvel’s approach in the screenplay of Thunderboltz made it a two -hour slogan motivational video. Look again in the past years in MCU, where such a movie is its flagship.

Marvel has taken steps in the right direction

Despite the simple screenplay “Thunderboltz” and its superficial message, Marvel has finally taken the right path after a long time. Thunderboltz is a character-driven movie. From the very beginning, as he moves on to Yelna, and especially her relationship with her father, and then in the middle of Bob’s story, the personality progress of each of the characters is preferable to what is going on around them. These characters also have more iangible concerns that make it easier for them to associate with Marvel’s gods and celebrities.

Perhaps even the choice of Yelna as the main role of the story has been in line with this approach; A choice that at first glance seems to be a big risk. Especially when you have Bucky Barnes in the film, the oldest hero of MCU at the mome, there is no support, and at first glance it looks better to guide Thunderbolz (whether film or band story). In corast, we have Florence Peyu, whose hero is not a hero and cannot even deliver a proper and Russian acce; It doesn’t have much of the mcu. In a word, Yelna is the most common member of the group. On the other hand, Yelna is exactly the one who hurts Marvel’s message in Thunderboltz; The championship that matches Marvel’s new criteria with “superhero”; The championship that brings the most out of the audience to the young audience.

As the heroes of Thunderbolz are ground heroes, Marvel has returned to ground stories with a new film. We are no longer dealing with overwhelming threats or heroes who come from other lands and get out of their eyes. Of course, it comes out of the eye of the laser ceer, but the ceer is also the result of abuse of the helplessness of Bob and a series of immoral experimes that made him infinite. While many of Marvel’s rece films and serials have been spe in other worlds or parallel worlds, ordinary citizens are forgotten, and no one is saying that as a result of the war of heroes and extraterrestrials, several people have been killed and several cities were destroyed.

But in Thunderboltz, however, we have at least one sequence in the middle of the film that former mercenaries – or today’s heroes began – after the vacuum attack on the city; Mothers and children save their children from the way of destruction and take people to a safe place. An action that seems simple at first glance; But for a long time Marvel had forgotten the first task of the heroes, which is to save the people. So you can see that many are reminisce of Thunderbolz as reminisce of the film “Avengers”.

Corary to rece MCU products, often the result of dozens of people and post -test hammering, there is a single approach in Thunderboltz, such as the first film of revenge. Whether in terms of storytelling or visual. How successful the screenplay and other departmes have been successful in implemeing this unit’s vision is another issue. Although Thunderboltz never has the quality of storytelling or action design, it is a good news that it shows Marvel’s change of practice, and if Marvel coinues to go, it will undoubtedly lead to better MCUs in the future.
