Mohammed bin Zayed University is rapidly developing for artificial ielligence (MBZUAI) in the UAE, with the aim of becoming Stanford of the Persian Gulf. Founded in year 6, it is the first specialized training ceer in the field of artificial ielligence in the world and plays a ceral role in the UAE’s national strategy for advanceme in technology and artificial ielligence education. Alongside education, the university attracts iernational elites, developme of iernal infrastructure and training specialized force for domestic technology companies such as the G42.
After the US position in the export of chip, the UAE will import hundreds of thousands of advanced chips annually by year 2; This provides the infrastructure needed to grow this university and attract tales. With new restrictions in the United States for iernational studes, some global elites in MBZUA have preferred Western options. About 5 % of graduates remain in the UAE and are attracted to local technology institutions.
Despite the significa improvemes, MBZUAI faces challenges such as lack of worldwide fame, governme budget dependence, and political concerns about scieific freedom. Some researchers are concerned about the limitations of freedom of expression in the UAE, but university administrators emphasize the efforts to create a free and modern environme and provide extensive educational and financial benefits for iernational studes.
