Nvidia announced on Tuesday that as part of a strategic cooperation with Humain, the Saudi Public Investme Fund’s Artificial Ielligence arm plans to build a set of artificial ielligence factories in the coury.
According to the Humain stateme, the projected capacity of the project will reach 2 megawatts in the next five years and will be provided with hundreds of thousands of units of the most advanced Nvidia graphics processing units (GPUs). The first phase of the project will include the launch of an artificial ielligence superconducting with 6,000 GB300 Grace Blackwell processors and the use of the Nvidia Infiniband network.
“This cooperation strengthens Humain’s mission to turn Saudi Arabia io a global power in the field of artificial ielligence; “The mission is pursued by combining advanced infrastructure, artificial ielligence border models, ieractive digital platforms, and human capital developme.”
These massive and scalable data ceers will provide a safe infrastructure for the training and deployme of indigenous and independe native artificial ielligence models that can accelerate digital innovation and transformation in Saudi Arabia’s domestic industries and even globally.
In another part of the project, the Nvidia Omniverse platform is to be used as a multi -use system for applications of physical and robotic ielligence.
The collaboration will also include training programs and upgrading workforce skills; Programs designed to develop technical knowledge of citizens and Saudi developers in the field of advanced artificial ielligence, simulation, robotics and digital twins. Humain has announced that these measures are being taken to achieve Saudi Arabia’s vision goals for economic diversity and digital leadership.
“Just as electricity and the Iernet have become the basic infrastructure of each coury, artificial ielligence has reached such a position,” said Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of Nvidia. “Along with Humain, we build artificial ielligence infrastructure for Saudi people and companies to make a bold dream of the coury.”
“Cooperation with Nvidia is a turning poi for Saudi Arabia,” said Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Communication and Information Technology. “With the help of Humain, we build future artificial ielligence factories to start a new era of physical artificial ielligence.”
Humain CEO Tariq Amin also said: “This partnership is a long step towards achieving Saudi aspirations to advance artificial ielligence and advanced digital infrastructure. “We are creating a global capacity for a future that comes with smart technology and powerful humans.”
