Pierest’s social network has announced that in the near future, users can separate artificial ielligence -made images from real images on the platform in the near future.
Problematic images in Pierest
In rece mohs, the release of unrealistic images made with artificial ielligence has led to a wave of criticism on Pierest’s social network. Other users could not recognize the real coe as before, and many of the images released on this platform were made with artificial ielligence. Now it seems that Pierest executives are going to solve the problem through labeling so that users can quickly be informed of the inaccuracies of an image.
A dedicated label for artificial ielligence images also includes edited photos with automatic tools; But it has not yet been available to all users. The technology manager of the platform has promised that users of all couries will soon be able to view the “Gen AI” label along with artificial ielligence coe and have a better user experience than in the past. There is also another label for edited photos called “AI Modified” to inform people of the manipulation of photos.

According to Pierest Technology Manager, a special label for artificial or artificial coe manipulated, will be displayed in the lower left corner of the images when clicking them in full screen mode. Apparely, an automated system can detect the coe related to AI by examining the metadite of images and assign them to the label. It is likely that one of the Google Syhid Watermark Detecting Systems or CC Adobe is likely to be used for this purpose.
Pierest has announced that it will also use a separate system to detect artificial ielligence -based images, which will not be metadita -based to increase the accuracy of its monitoring system. Users can, of course, protest the Gen AI label on their photos so that experts can manually review the coe. Finally, as promised by the managers of this platform, a trial option will be provided to users with less artificial ielligence coe.
