A North Carolina mother named Lauren Benon claimed that ChatGPT artificial ielligence chats have saved her life by correctly diagnosing thyroid cancer.
After mohs of inaccurate diagnosis of physicians who attributed symptoms such as finger moveme, weight loss and stomach pain to diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis or gastric reflux, Lauren examined the possibility of Hashimoto’s disease. This diagnosis led to further experimes and the discovery of two cancer masses in his neck.
Finally, after the cancer confirmed in October and November 1, Lauren was undergoing surgery in January and February of that year, and his thyroid gland and two lymph nodes were removed.
He believes that without ChatGPT guidance, his illness would be hidden and urged others to use artificial ielligence tools to investigate their health concerns with caution.
This experience reflects the capacity of artificial ielligence in support of medical diagnosis.
