The OpenAI, best known as ChatGPT chats, has announced that it plans to release its first open source language model after a few years. This decision could be one of the most importa strategic changes to the OPT-2 launch; A limited model to developers.
According to sources close to the company, the project leadership is the responsibility of Aidan Clark, Vice Preside of Operating Research Departme, and the main focus of this new model will be on the ability to reason and text analysis; A feature that has been recognized in rece years as the poi of distinguishing advanced models.
One of the highlights of this project is the more open approach and less restrictions on the model permit. Unlike other famous open source models, such as Google’s Gemma, which have been criticized for strict regulations, OpenII is trying to provide more free use for developers and businesses with a neglige authorization.
