Apple’s latest Watchos 12 operating system update will show up with a new feature and will provide Apple Ielligence artificial ielligence. According to Mark Gorman, the software will bring a limited set of capabilities called Powered by Apple Ielligence, though the truth of the story seems a bit more complicated.
Unlike iPhone phones or iPad tablets, Apple’s smartwatch does not have the processing power needed to run native to advanced models of artificial ielligence. Therefore, if the notion that artificial ielligence will reach your wrist, what happens in reality is more based on cloud computing. These capabilities are likely to be technically offered using artificial ielligence in the infrastructure, and the clock will not perform any complex processing. However, Apple is promoting it to the Watchos 12 operating system.
All of this is part of a more comprehensive approach at the World Conference on Apple Developers in Year 2, where Apple Ielligence is expected to play a ceral role in iOS, iPados and MacOS. Although Apple’s smartwatch will not be a pioneer in the field of artificial ielligence innovations, it will coinue to provide users with a small experience of what is expected in the near future.
In addition to the capabilities of artificial ielligence, the WatchOS 12 operating system will also be visually evolved. Do not expect a major change in design, but users can wait for changes in the user ierface inspired by “Solarium”. This new design language is used this year on all Apple platforms, including softer animations, updated widgets, and a more iegrated visual experience that will all match the expected changes to the iPhone and Mac.
However, Apple’s decision to rely on its own dedicated artificial ielligence as a key feature is a bit worrying. Following the disaster of Smart Siri, most users have largely lost their confidence in Apple’s ability to deliver new smart capabilities. To prove the actual efficiency of these capabilities, Apple must show them live at the World Developers Conference.
It is not yet clear whether these new capabilities will be enough to create exciteme about the new generation of Apple Watch’s hardware, but according to the usual routine, the World Conference on Scene Developers will be in which Apple will determine its future path.
