Waze’s popular map reader announced in a rece update that it would stop Google Assista for iOS users due to consta problems in iegration.
The company plans to provide a better alternative to the “Advanced Audio Iegration Solution”, which is likely to be Google’s artificial ielligence model.
“This feature has not been working properly for more than a year, and we decided to delete it instead of temporary repair,” Waze said in a stateme.
Reported Problems: iPhone users were experiencing problems such as non -detection of sound after Google’s assista activation.
Status on Android: This change only includes iOS, and Google’s assista remains active in the Android version.
Google’s transition to Gemini
Google recely announced that it will gradually move users from Google Assista to Gemini and the curre assista will be deactivated by most devices by the end of this year.
Waze is testing smart audio reporting with Gemini that allows users to report problems in a conversation.
Many users have criticized the long delay in resolving the problems, but Waze has promised to provide a better and more sustainable alternative.
