An website shows how Meta (Facebook Mother Company and Instagram) downloaded millions of books and scieific articles illegally to teach its large language model, Lama. The disclosure came after a complai by a group of famous writers such as to-Nisi Kots and Sarah Silverman, accusing Meta of illegally using their works for artificial ielligence education.
