Some sources have reported that the North Korean governme is establishing hacker groups focusing on artificial ielligence. These groups are set to operate under the supervision of the North Korean ielligence agency.
Daily NK, which covers North Korean news, quoted an iernal source last week that the North Korean governme created a new hacker unit called Research Ceer 227 aimed at researching technologies and aggressive hacking programs.

According to the magazine, the Research Ceer 227 has a task of researching cyber security systems and Western computer networks and enhancing the North Korean regime’s capabilities to steal digital assets. The developme of artificial ielligence -based techniques for theft of information and collaborating with North Korean hacker groups abroad is another task of this newly established unit.
The US National Security Agency and the FBI had previously accused the North Korean ielligence agency of hacking and spying on Western companies and couries.
It also appears that theft of Ramsarz has become a new focus of North Korean -affiliated hackers. These hackers have been responsible for theft of billions of dollars in Ramsar over the past decade, and in the latest case, more than $ 1 billion in digital assets have been stolen from the BYBIT currency exchange.
Statistics also show that North Korean hackers have been repeatedly increased in rece years.
