In rece years, artificial ielligence systems (AI) have surpassed human beings in areas such as mathematics, programming and medical diagnosis and are becoming more and more advanced every day. Artificial ielligence companies are expected to claim comprehensive artificial ielligence (AGI) in years 1 or 2; A system that is capable of performing almost all human cognitive tasks.
With the announceme of comprehensive artificial ielligence, there will probably be discussions about its definition and autheicity, but more importaly, the monopoly on human ielligence at the human level is being lost and we are moving to a world with powerful artificial ielligence systems.
In the next decade, powerful artificial ielligence can create trillion dollars of economic value and change the balance of political and military power in favor of the couries that corol it. However, many people and institutions are not ready to deal with curre artificial ielligence systems, and there is no realistic plan to manage the risks and exploit the benefits of these systems at the governme level.
Ierestingly, experts close to artificial ielligence technology are more concerned about its progress than others. For example, Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI, said “systems that refer to comprehensive artificial ielligence are emerging.” Also, Demis Hasbis, CEO of Google Dipmaman, has predicted that comprehensive artificial ielligence will probably be achieved in the next three to five years.
With the improveme of artificial ielligence models, they are now able to perform more sophisticated tasks that were not before. For example, specialized models in the Iernational Mathematical Olympiad have achieved superior results and general models are capable of solving complex problems.
Despite the various predictions about the timing of the emergence of comprehensive artificial ielligence, we need to prepare for it right now. This readiness involves modernizing energy infrastructure, strengthening cyber defense, accelerating the process of approved drugs designed by artificial ielligence, formulating regulations to preve serious damage to artificial ielligence, and educating school literacy in schools.
