Opera has unveiled a native artificial ielligence age called “Browser Operator” that runs directly inside the browser and performs tasks automatically for users.
Unlike independe artificial ielligence tools, the Browser Operator acts as part of the browser itself and can perform duplicate tasks such as online shopping, filling forms and collecting coe from the web for users.
One of the main advaages of this tool over cloud artificial ielligence is that all processing is locally done on the Opera browser and does not need to send sensitive users’ information to third -party servers.
In a demo video, Opera shows how the Browser Operator can simplify a daily process such as buying socks. Instead of searching for product pages and filling out payme forms, users can transfer the eire shopping process to the browser’s artificial ielligence and instead focus on their more importa tasks.
How and Key Browser Operator Operations and Benefits
The tool uses Natural Language Processing (NLP) based on Opera Composer AI engine and can ierpret and execute users’ text commands and execute in the browser. All operations are locally performed on the user’s device and do not need to send information to the Iernet.
In sensitive steps such as payme of payme information or final order verification, the Browser Operator stops and is allowed from the user. Users can also corol and stop the process at any mome.
Also, this tool has complete transparency; Any step taken by it is visible and reviewed. If there is a mistake (such as the wrong order registration), users can order artificial ielligence to cancel or correct the order.
Key Differences Browser Operator: Privacy, Speed, accuracy
What distinguishes Browser Operator from other browser artificial ielligence tools is the privacy -based architecture and its local processing.
Faster performance: Unlike other artificial ielligence tools that use screen images to ideify website coe, the Browser Operator directly accesss the structural data (DOM Tree and Layout Data), which speeds up command execution and reduces additional processing.
Privacy of users: All data, including the onsets, cookies, and review history, remain on the device and are not se to Opera servers. It also refuses to capture page images, record keyboards or send personal information.
Advanced ieraction with web pages: This artificial ielligence can access elemes of the pages that are hidden from the user’s poi of view, such as ideity verification windows or cookies, which provide a more smoother experience in ieracting with pages.
Opera has iroduced an importa step towards converting browsers from simple web browsing tools to smart and automatic assistas that can increase users’ productivity.
