Artificial Ielligence scieists who won the Turing Award this year warned of the dangers of artificial ielligence and the priority of profit for safety for companies active in the field.

The award has been awarded to Andrew Barto, researcher at the University of Massachusetts, and former Google Research Research Scieist Richard Saton. The scieists, however, have taken the opportunity to warn of the dangers of artificial ielligence.

According to the Financial Times, the scieists have warned that artificial ielligence companies do not fully test it before launching a product. The winners of this year’s Turing Prize have likened the process to build a bridge and try it to use it using people.
The Turing Prize is referred to as the “Nobel Prize for Accous” and its winners receive $ 5 million. Barto also said that companies in the field have prioritized business motivations rather than focusing on the progress of artificial ielligence research. Jeffrey Hion, who is referred to as the godfather of artificial ielligence, had also previously warned of insecure developme of the technology.
