Mira Morat, former CEO and Openai’s influeial figures, announced the launch of a new startup called “Thinking Machines Lab”. This startup has begun its activity aimed at developing artificial ielligence models that improve the ieraction between humans and machines in various areas.
While curre artificial ielligence systems perform well in areas such as programming and mathematics, the collection seeks to develop models that can adapt to a wide range of human skills and provide wider applications in various industries, the official stateme said. This approach can be a new challenge for leading companies in the field of artificial ielligence. However, will this emerging startup be able to achieve these ambitious goals? The answer to this question will determine the passage of time.
Cooperation of former OpenAI specialists in the new Morat project
John Scholman, one of the founders of Openai, and former Vice Preside of Research Bart Zef, will serve as a senior scieist and chief technology director at the startup. Also, former Openai Vice Preside Safety Vice Preside Lilian Wang has also joined the complex, indicating the project’s special focus on the dimensions of artificial ielligence safety and ethics.
Another noteworthy thing is that more than twelve curre employees of this startup have a history of operating in Openai. While no specific product or model has been iroduced yet, its differe philosophy has attracted much atteion to other artificial ielligence companies.
Instead of focusing on fully automatic systems, this startup is on the agenda of MultiModal that will work with humans. This approach can lead to a fundameal change in the ieraction between human and machine.
In addition, the Machine Machine Laboratory emphasizes the regular publication of scieific articles, programming codes and technical reports. The company’s stateme states:
“We believe that sharing the results of our research will not only benefit the public, but also promote research culture within our collection.”
Murat’s key role in the transformation of OpenAI
Mira Morati, an engineer from Albania and a graduate of Dartmouth University, joined Openai in year 2 and was appoied as the company’s chief technology manager in 2008. During his time, he played a key role in the developme and supply of promine products such as ChatGPT chats and advanced audio technology.
With the launch of this new startup, Morat seems to be trying to create a new chapter in the artificial ielligence world and create a clearer and more efficie ieraction between humans and the machine.
