German police spokesman declared the ideity of the suspect attacking a car in Munich as Afghanistan, according to the Mehr News Agency.

According to a police spokesman, the man is 5 years old and is applying for asylum in Germany. Bayern Governor Marcus Zodir also says the incide is suspected of “terrorist attack”.

Police have not yet provided details of whether the incide was deliberate. However, a local media reported that the injured were involved in demonstrations related to the strikes organized by the Verdi Union. Earlier, the number of casualties was reported to be 4, but now local media have reported the number of casualties to five, including children.

The incide happened just days before the Munich Security Conference began. The summit will attend senior and promine officials in various couries, including US Vice Preside Jedi Venus, as well as Ukrainian Preside Walodimir Zelnski. The incide will undoubtedly exacerbate security measures on the eve of the conference, which takes place on February 4-5.
