Openai, a ChatGPT celebrity chat developer, is assessing the idea of displaying advertising in this product. Meanwhile, CEO Sam Altman has not been relucta to use advertising before and has made it the last option.
Sarah Ferreir, director of finance at Openai, told the Financial Times that the company is considering advertising -based business model. Apparely, if the model is implemeed, measures will be taken to display advertising in a reasonable way. In other statemes, Fremier has poied out that there is currely no specific plan to impleme the model, but Openai seems to have the idea in general and perhaps eveually come to it.
According to the Financial Times, Open Open has recely attracted Shivakomar Vankataraman, former Google CEO. It is expected that the presence of Vankataraman will be able to help advance the company’s possible advertising plans. To date, OpenAI has used the subscription model to make money from its artificial ielligence tools. But given the high costs of building and providing these tools and the company’s significa reliance on investors, the need for more income resources is felt and advertising can be a suitable option.
However, Sam Altman disagrees with advertising. In a rece speech at Harvard Business College, he said in response to a question about using advertising to increase product access, he said that this would be their latest solution. “I am not saying that Open will never think about advertising, but I personally have no ierest in advertising, and I think the combination of advertising and artificial ielligence is not that ieresting,” he added.
