Recely, Sam Altman, the CEO of OpenA, announced in a post on the X social network that OpenAI does not plan to release artificial ielligence at the AGI level next moh; because its construction is not yet complete.
Artificial General Ielligence (AGI) has attracted much atteion as an ambitious goal; AGI refers to a type of artificial ielligence that can learn and reason and make decisions like humans in differe fields.
OpenAI’s definition of AGI is a fully automated system that outperforms humans in most economically valuable tasks. This definition distinguishes AGI from large-scale language models (LLMs) such as OpenAI’s o1 and o3 models, which perform very well in certain tasks such as natural language processing; But they lack general ielligence and the ability to perform a wide range of tasks.
This year, Sam Altman, the CEO of OpenA, spoke in a blog post with confidence about the company’s knowledge in the field of AGI construction and the expectation that AI ages will join the workforce by 2025.
Recely, Emma Altman, in a post on the X social network, announced that OpenAI does not plan to release AGI next moh; because its construction is not yet complete.
The appare coradiction between past and prese statemes has raised questions about OpenAI’s path and timeline for achieving human-like AI.
The statemes made show that OpenAI remains committed to the developme of human-like artificial ielligence. While some experts believe that achieving AGI is not far off in the near future, others believe that this goal is still years away.
