According to The Verge, Altman’s family members immediately denied the claim, calling the allegations made by Sam Altman’s sister “absolutely false” and attributing them to “meal challenges” he had been dealing with for years.

OpenAI’s CEO, mother and 2 brothers said in a stateme posted by Sam Altman on X (pictured below):
“She has made deeply disturbing and completely false claims about our family and Sam in particular.”

In the coinuation of this stateme, it has been said that he made conspiratorial claims about various family members and demanded money in return. Altman’s family also says they have supported him financially, but that he has turned down offers of medical help and treatme.
The sister of the CEO of OpenAI claims in her complai that Altman sexually abused her from 1997 to 2006. He says the period began when Ann was three and Sam was 12, and coinued uil the OpenAI CEO reached adulthood.

Ann says in her complai that she suffers from “severe emotional distress” and is unable to lead a “normal life” because of the abuse.
In response to Altman’s family’s stateme, his lawyer says they have tried to distract atteion from the harm they have caused. He also said about it, “There is no evidence that his meal health played a role in making these claims.”
