According to YouTube’s official announceme, dubbing with artificial ielligence has recely been made available to hundreds of thousands of new channels that are focused on producing coe related to knowledge and information.
YouTube has received several AI-based features since last year. One of the most ieresting features is the possibility of dubbing videos, which allows coe producers to make their coe available to a wider range of users. The video dubbing feature was first iroduced to YouTube users last year.
YouTube’s artificial ielligence dubbing feature will be available to more channels

At first, a limited number of channels had access to this feature, but now it has become available to hundreds of thousands of new channels. YouTube also said that soon more channels with other types of coe will receive the ability to be dubbed with artificial ielligence.
What language the dubbing is done depends on the original language of the video; For example, if the original language of the video is English, YouTube’s new feature can translate it io French, German, Hindi, Italian, Spanish, Indonesian, Japanese, and Portuguese. On the other hand, if the video is in a language other than English, the dubbing will be done in English only.
For channels that have this feature available, videos will be dubbed automatically after uploading, but coe creators can also preview it before publishing. According to YouTube, coe creators can even cancel or remove dubs after they’re published.
Of course, the dubbing that YouTube puts on videos is not so natural at the mome, but this platform promises that this feature will work better with future updates in simulating tone, emotions and even the surrounding environme.
YouTube also warned that this technology is new and not perfect yet; Therefore, it is possible that the translation of the videos is not accurate or the voice of the dubbing has differences with the voice of the original speaker of the video.
