According to a new report published by Bloomberg, Apple is apparely planning to use its digital assista, ie Satiety (Siri) more similar to OpenAI’s ChatGPT and Google’s Gemini Live. This version of Apple’s assista is apparely “LLM SiriIt supports Apple’s artificial ielligence models and users can ieract with it with a natural voice.
Bloomberg reporter Mark German reports that Apple will improve Siri’s ability to perform more advanced tasks as part of its plans to boost its iPhones’ artificial ielligence.
Garman says the advanced version of Siri will be more capable of ieracting with third-party apps and will get help from Apple Ielligence for tasks like summarizing and writing text.

The report goes on to say that although Apple is likely to iroduce its own apps next year, the tech gia plans to replace the underlying Siri software with a new system in the spring of 2026.
Craig Federici, Apple’s senior vice preside of software, talked about this in an ierview with the Wall Street Journal last moh:
“The features of something like OpenAI’s advanced voice mode and Siri are completely differe. OpenAI mode is great if you wa to ask questions about quaum mechanics and have an AI write a poem about it for you… it’s not going to open your garage and it’s not going to help you text.
“There are so many useful things that Siri can do for you every day, and they do them quickly and on your device.”
So far, Apple has been relatively slow to roll out AI features to iPhones, and last moh it iegrated ChatGPT AI with Siri as part of the iOS 18.2 beta.
