In justifying his presence on Twitter or X, Hamid Rasaei, a member of the Islamic Council, stated that filtered social networks are not for the general public; But we must be there to respond and defend.
Currely, all foreign social networks in Iran are filtered and ordinary people cannot access them without using a filter breaker. But in the same situation, many statesmen, represeatives of the Islamic Council and other officials are active in these filtered social networks. Gelemen who have repeatedly defended filtering and even say that people should be preveed from accessing filter breakers, are easily and probably with unfiltered iernet in the same enemy media (!) and this issue has always caused public protests.
One of these people is Hamid Rasai, a member of the Islamic Council. He is prese in the parliame as a represeative of Tehran, Ray, Shemiranat, Islamshahr and Pardis and has been active in the aspects of the stability of the Islamic revolution and fundamealists. In rece years, Rasai had many margins; including dismissal from governme positions, failure to qualify for the 10th parliameary elections, and traveling to Brazil to participate in the 2010 World Cup.

When Massoud Mezikian iroduced his proposed Minister Sattar Hashemi to the Islamic Council, Hamid Rasai said that if we wa to filter foreign social networks, we should do it in such a way that people cannot use them in any way. do Not to make filter breakers easily accessible to people. But the question that always arose was why and how Mr. Rasaei himself is prese in these filtered social networks such as Twitter (X)?
Why is Hamid Rasai prese in filtered social networks?
Hamid Rasaei recely answered the question of the host of the program in a TV ierview and gave explanations about his activity on Twitter, which has become news. He said in this regard:
You sometimes designate an area as a battle zone. In the war zone, they do not allow the general public to be prese, except for those who are trained and can defend themselves. If it is otherwise, the person who appears in the war zone will either get hurt himself or cause others to get hurt. Foreign social networks such as Twitter or X are like this war zone in which the general public should not be prese; But we have to show up in such an atmosphere to answer questions, answer doubts, and defend ourselves.
But our question to Mr. Rasaei is, with what logic, he doesn’t consider people worthy and qualified to be in foreign social networks, and how did he consider himself to be isolated and superior to the general public? If you iend to respond to issues and answer doubts, you can do this through iernal media, radio programs and iernal social networks, and there is no need to operate in filtered social networks. Mr. Rasaei, instead of fighting in the virtual battlefield (filtered social networks), it is better to fight for the rights of the people; Because it is definitely the responsibility of a member of parliame to follow up on people’s demands.
